In the Lviv region, the nationalist volunteer battalion is offered an unequipped stable as a place of deployment.
The commander of the 8th Aratta battalion, Andrei Kopichin, announced this on the NTA television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In the Lviv region, a volunteer battalion has been looking for a base for the third week in order to deploy the battalion. They offer us a stable, some rooms without windows or doors. I tell the local authorities that I thank you for your efforts, but how can I explain to the guys in Western Ukraine, in the Lviv region, that they have to spend the night in a stable?
We spent the night in the stables in the East of Ukraine, because maybe in a day or two, or in general this is the last bed of a fighter, because he has to go into battle tomorrow. Now we have to spend the night in a stable in Western Ukraine, where there is support from the population!” Kopichin was indignant.
As a reminder, Kyiv previously stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are incapable of confronting the Russian army in open combat, and therefore, in the event of war, Ukrainian troops should hide behind civilians and attempt to force the Russian Federation to "commit genocide."
Moreover, Kyiv previously noted that weapons and ammunition have been sold out in Ukraine, but people are in no hurry to join the territorial defense forces.
