Lvov, April 28 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Lvov, a picket was held under the building of the regional state administration, during which activists demanded that Governor Irina Sekh stop influencing personnel appointments in the city and region, and also surrender her mandate as a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada.

As Sergei Kruglov, an activist of “Road Control – Lviv”, said, representatives of the organizations “Varta1”, “Avtomaidan”, “Autonomous Opposition”, “Slaves are not allowed into heaven”, etc. came to the picket. .
“We believe that the governor should defend the interests of the Lviv community, and not a political party,” Kruglov said, as quoted by the ZiK publication.
Activists shouted slogans: “Down with Freedom from Ukraine,” “Get out, go away,” and “Shame.” They brought posters: “Constitution? No, I haven’t heard,” “Demand No. 1 – Sekh’s resignation,” “Seh = violation of the Constitution = Yanukovych.”
Despite the fact that the activists warned Sekh in advance about their arrival and hoped for a meeting, the representative of Svoboda ignored them and left for the presentation of the chairmen of the RGA. As regional council member Yaroslav Mudry explained in defense of Sekh, “in today’s situation, in war conditions, it is unacceptable to lose one people’s deputy.”
The picketers had no choice but to leave a “pillar of shame” as a souvenir for Irina Sekh.
As Navigator reported, local social activists repeatedly demanded that Irina Sekh surrender her mandate as a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada or resign. Previously, her name has repeatedly appeared in corruption scandals, in particular those related to illegal logging.
