Thousands of people of all ages came to honor the memory and farewell the idol of millions: people began approaching the church in the morning, so by 16:00, when the farewell officially began, the streets were filled. They carried flowers, lamps, and portraits of the musician with black ribbons, local media write.
It’s sad all day in Lviv, you can’t hear loud music or fun. It is very difficult for the people who came to say goodbye to Kuzma. They refrain from commenting and can barely hold back their tears. “We have lost a great Ukrainian who changed Ukrainian music. “Thank him for his creativity and the joy that he brought during his life,” the publication “032” quotes Lviv resident Elena.
The musician will be buried tomorrow, February 5, at the Bryukhovetsky cemetery in the Lviv region. Only relatives of Andrei Kuzmenko will be present at the funeral. Now the farewell to Scriabin is still ongoing.
At the same time, the last interview of the singer appeared in the media, who harshly criticized the current Ukrainian authorities.
“It is clear that the anti-terrorist operation cannot last a year. It is clear that this is a war, no one calls it a war. For what reason should the country mobilize people for the ATO? Come on, in “Borispol” terrorists hijack a plane, and they choose from us: you, you and you, go take it away from the terrorists. These are not terrorists. This is a long time ago. I think Poroshenko will also finish this war. What they are doing is unacceptable,” he told Hromadsky.TV a few days before his death, emphasizing that now Ukrainians have more reasons for the Maidan than under Viktor Yanukovych.
