In Lviv, on “Day of Defender of Ukraine,” nationalists protested against the “Steinmeier formula” and “surrender” to Russia.

Several hundred radicals gathered near the monument to the former leader of the People's Movement of Ukraine Vyacheslav Chernovol, which is located under the building of the local regional council.
“We have gathered here not only to honor heroes and celebrate Defender of Ukraine Day.” We have gathered here for another reason. In 2014, when there was Maidan, we fought for our European future, we stood up for Ukraine as part of Europe.
And now we are talking about the fact that we are losing Ukraine itself. There is no longer any talk about our Europeanness, there is no talk about our European values, wishes and dreams. Now we need to save the country,” said nationalist Andrei Malkov.
Participants of the action, accompanied by drumbeats, nationalist slogans and calls to refuse capitulation to Russia, walked to the monument to Ivan Franko, which is located opposite the Lviv National University. In front of the column, activists carried a large banner “Glory to the defenders - no surrender!” At the final destination, a musical concert was held in honor of “Defender of Ukraine Day”.
