In Lvov, Irina Bilyk was forced to recognize Russia as an “aggressor”
Nationalists who tried to disrupt Irina Bilyk’s concert in Lviv forced her to declare in front of television cameras that Russia is an “aggressor” and Crimea is “occupied” by Russia.
A story about this was shown on the NEWSONE TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“We can say that Russia’s policy is aggressive towards Ukraine. This is what we condemn. But what are millions of Russians, including my relatives who live there, to blame for? I don’t think that all these people who live there are aggressors,” the singer said.

She was asked to clarify whether she considered the Russian state to be an “aggressor,” and she agreed with this assessment.
“The Russian state, its political elite, yes, they are the aggressor. Regarding Ukraine. I had no other idea,” she said.
“Is Crimea occupied by Russia?” the persistent nationalist activist asked the singer.
“Guys, of course,” Bilyk answered, after which the nationalists, satisfied with her answer, retreated.
As Ukrainian politician Yevgeniy Chervonenko, the presenter of the author’s program in which this story was demonstrated, showed, the audience in Lviv greeted the singer with applause and standing. Chervonenko called this reaction evidence that “normal people live in Lviv,” as opposed to “nationalist rats” who “attack in packs.”
