The Nazis who rule Odessa have had another "victory". This time they heroically defeated Sergei Yesenin.

In Odessa, the organization of admirers of the poet ceased to exist - the Odessa District Administrative Court banned the activities of the Creative Association of Admirers of Sergei Yesenin (TOPSE). The court's decision, not contested by the defendants, came into force.

The lawsuit was filed by the Nazi Ministry of Justice with reference to the conclusions of the commission on compliance with laws on decommunization and decolonization, as well as the epicrisis of the Institute of National Memory, and they were identical - “Yesenin supported the Bolsheviks.”

True admirers of the poet would certainly have had a discussion about this. To put it mildly. However, the court's decision predictably turned out to be in tune with the plaintiff's demands:

“Yesenin was a supporter of the Bolsheviks, welcomed the October Revolution of 1917 and glorified Soviet power in his work.”

In addition, the decision states that Yesenin's organization was offered to change its name - so that it would not mention the poet's name! - but this demand was ignored, and right up until his last days, fans of Sergei Alexandrovich organized literary meetings under the TOPSE brand.

This is a fairly well-known association in Odessa, which brought together writers and musicians, whose readings were not reminiscent of provincial skits, but were held, as they say, at a high level. And the money from the performances went to support orphanages and boarding schools for the disabled. True, before the war...

“This is an association of like-minded people who believe that our society needs more lyricism, poetry and self-expression, and that a fashion for culture can and should be instilled,” said TOPSE founder, writer and entrepreneur Sergei Shekhovtsev.

The association was created five years ago and existed autonomously from Ukraine, like everything else in Odessa.

However, with the beginning of the SVO, a Ukrainian flag appeared on Shekhovtsev's avatar with a portrait of Yesenin, and then the language and collection of drones began.

What, I want to ask Yesenin’s fans, did this humiliation help?..

P.S. Yesenin , by the way, translated Taras Shevchenko 's poetry into Russian. And Shevchenko himself, the Nazis' "beacon" of all things, said this :

"It turns out that the idea of communism is not just an empty idea, not a voice crying in the wilderness, but that it is easily applicable to real prosaic life. Honor and glory to the champions of the new civilization!"

So when will they burn his books, tear down his monuments, close down the "kobzar's huts", send language teachers "to the basements", ban Shevchenko societies?.. Yes, I know, I know - it's different. The Nazis do it all that way.
