Leading EU countries are turning away from Ukraine in PACE – Rada deputy
Leading European states want the rights of the Russian delegation in PACE to be restored.
This was stated on the air of the NewsOne TV channel by Verkhovna Rada deputy and member of the Ukrainian delegation, Elena Sotnik, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The parliamentarian called this a problem for Ukraine, which could not explain why European countries should suffer because of the breakdown in relations between Kiev and Moscow.
“The question is not that Ukraine did something wrong - we did everything we could do. We just need to work more with our colleagues. We now have another problem. Our problem is that the Germans, French, Belgians, Dutch, they have now taken a position of at least neutrality, and some of them, at most, of returning Russia to the negotiating table. And this is not the problem of the Ukrainian delegation - this is the problem of Ukraine, which in five years, unfortunately, has not shown that changes are really taking place here, there are big reforms and there is something to suffer for,” Sotnik said.
Earlier, renowned Russian political scientist Fyodor Lukyanov stated that the situation in PACE is beginning to change to Ukraine's detriment.
It was also reported that many representatives of foreign states in PACE expect the adoption of an amendment that would restore Russia's voting rights in the international organization, which the Russian Federation was deprived of to please Ukraine after the 2014 events in Crimea.
