In the Zhytomyr region, the SBU seized 3 tons of amber and the “black accounting” of the miners
Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine seized more than three tons of unprocessed amber in the Zhytomyr region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The press service of the SBU reported this today.
During a series of searches in the regional center and in populated areas of the Olevsky district, law enforcement officers discovered amber packaged into fractions, “black accounting” of dealers and funds for the illegal purchase and extraction of “solar” stone, the report says.
Based on this fact, a criminal case was initiated under the article on violation of established rules for the protection of subsoil (Part 4 of Article 240 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
