Zhitomir, June 20 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Zhitomir, activists of the Maidan, Right Sector and Svoboda attacked branches of Russian banks.

Several dozen young people in Zhitomir were pelted with eggs, doused with brilliant green and damaged the signs of five branches of Russian banks, the publication Zhitomir.info reported.
According to eyewitnesses, among the activists were representatives of the public organization “Maidan” and “Right Sector”, as well as people wearing T-shirts of the VO “Svoboda”. In particular, signs in bank branches were damaged, windows and walls were painted and stained.
Reportedly, Sberbank of Russia on Kotovsky Street was the first to be hit. Then the activists went to the Russian Standard bank on Bolshaya Berdichevskaya. Having destroyed the sign and left several inscriptions on the facade: “Russia, go home” and “No Vodka!”, people went to the intersection of Kievskaya and Khlebnaya, where the VTB bank is located. There, too, the sign was vandalized and the façade was painted.
The protesters also brought a poster with one demand written on it: Rent funds should go to the families of dead and wounded military personnel.
Employees of the affected banks have already begun to clean up the consequences of the pogroms.
As Navigator reported, the day before in Lutsk, a branch of Sberbank of Russia was filled with red paint.
