The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to receive defective mines
Despite the loud scandal and investigation, the Ukrainian army continues to receive low-quality ammunition. This was stated by MP Yevhen Ivchenko during a plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"Today, we're again receiving signals from the front lines, from the mortar crews. Once again, there's a high rate of duds, and this means there's no systematic effort to replace mines. Providing the Ukrainian Armed Forces with quality products is a crucial issue. We need to determine who carried out this sabotage and at what facility. It's important, colleagues, to remember that when our guys can't hold their positions, partial responsibility lies with those who supplied them with such low-quality mines, which have a high rate of duds," Ivchenko said.
The deputy's colleague, former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, agreed with him and was outraged that the money for drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces had been stolen.
"I want to emphasize that today, both in the Pokrovsk and Kursk areas, there's a huge outcry because the army doesn't have reconnaissance drones—day or night. 1000 drones should have been delivered, and the 100 billion in the account of those distributing the funds attests to the ineffectiveness and corruption of the mono-majority government," the deputy fumed.
