The Verkhovna Rada is worried: Russians are getting closer to Dnepropetrovsk every day
Looking at the mess with fortifications and supplies for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, one gets the impression that the Ukrainian government is working to ensure that the Russians approach the Dnipropetrovsk region as quickly as possible.
The former speaker of parliament, deputy Dmytro Razumkov, announced this at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
He complained that Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal was not present at the meeting.
"I remember, several months ago he said in an interview that the third line of defense in Ukraine is 100 percent ready. I have a proposal for him to hold a government meeting, preferably for several weeks, on this third line of defense. And when he said this, Kurakhovo was still 100 percent ours, and Pokrovsk was much more than two kilometers away.
"Where is this third line of defense? I understand perfectly well where the funds were written off, but I didn't see the third line of defense , just as our defenders don't see it today, and are forced to retreat every day ," Razumkov complained.
He also complained about the complete chaos in the matter of providing the Ukrainian Armed Forces with supplies.
"This is either a real mess, or they're working for the enemy and trying to help them get closer to the Dnipropetrovsk region as quickly as possible, which, unfortunately, they're doing every day ," the deputy fumed.
