The Verkhovna Rada demands that Dodon be banned from entering Ukraine for recognizing Russian Crimea

Moldovan presidential candidate Igor Dodon may be banned from entering the territory of Ukraine due to the recognition of Crimea as part of the Russian Federation.

This is stated in the appeal of Verkhovna Rada deputy Grigory Timish to the head of the SBU, which was voiced at a meeting on Friday by Deputy Speaker Irina Gerashchenko.

“Grigory Timesh’s appeal to the head of the SBU concerns the decision to ban the entry into the territory of Ukraine of a citizen of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Nikolaevich Dodon, born in 1975, for statements that have signs of encroachment on the territorial integrity and untouchability of Ukraine,” Gerashchenko said.
