The director of the Kiev cinema Zhovten, Lyudmila Gordeladze, stated this in a comment to the Kiev magazine “Novoe Vremya”, answering the question of what she thinks about the competition.
“I have no words - only emotions. I live on Khreshchatyk and the decibel-decibel sound from the “Eurovillage” hits my ears and brains. However, I understand that some millions allocated by the state are worked out (laundered) there. We need to be patient. I want to say something about expensive clothes for presenters. There is a good service - renting evening clothes for special occasions. Very expensive things, and the price of this service is low. But Eurovision in the Ukrainian version is a parade of provincialism and a vanity fair rolled into one. Well, and a source of enrichment for those admitted to the trough. This is sacred,” Gordeladze said.
