In Ukraine, the screening of 9 Russian films was banned: in cinemas and even at home
Kyiv, September 16 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The State Film Agency banned the screening of 9 Russian-made films and television series in Ukraine.

As reported on the Goskino website, based on the conclusions of the Expert Commission on Public Display and Distribution of Films and Videos, the State Film Agency canceled or denied state registration of 9 Russian-produced films and television series: “Fake Army. The Great Scam of Colonel Pavlenko” (dir. A. Grachev, Russia, 2009, d/f); “The Second Killer” (dir. S. Vlasov, Russia, 2013); “Cold Cruise” (dir. I. Nurislamov, Russia, 2012); “The Honor of the Samurai” (dir. N. Yakusheva, Russia, 2012); “Let me kiss you again” (dir. Yu. Morozov, Russia, 2012); “Cop Wars 7” (dir. S. Raevsky, Russia, 2013); “A Separate Assignment” (dir. D. Averin, Russia, 2012); “Cop Wars 4” (dir. E. Abrosimov, Russia, 2013); “Simply “Jackson” (dir. L. Plyaskin, Russia, 2012).
According to the conclusion of the Expert Commission, the noted films were recognized as prohibited for television showing, public commercial video, home video on the territory of Ukraine, and 3 of the above films were banned for theatrical showing.
“Protecting the national information space is a priority for the Ukrainian state. We must limit the influence of Russian propaganda on the Ukrainian audience, at the same time, Goskino does not intend to limit the showing of Russian films in Ukraine that do not pose a threat to national interests,” the press service quotes the chairman of the State Agency for Cinema, Philipp Ilyenko.
As PolitNavigator reported, 15 Russian TV channels were previously banned in Ukraine. In Lvov, local police officers were involved in checking hotels, hospitals and schools for compliance with this regulation.
