In Turkey, due to massive violation of coronavirus rules by Ukrainians, they began to close the hotels in which they vacation.
Antalya Governor Ersin Yazıcı stated this on CNN Türk TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Thus, recently in Antalya the 5-star Bosphorus Sorgun hotel stopped operating after a scandalous video went viral - on Easter, May 2, a loud party was held at the Bosphorus, but the Ukrainians present were not wearing masks.
Representatives of the ministries immediately arrived at the hotel to check and began an investigation. A hotel representative said that photos and videos of the party were taken by a Ukrainian animator from another hotel who was staying with them that evening.
Commenting on the incident, Antalya Governor Ersin Yazici said that the hotel was already closed. Moreover, the owners’ tourist certificate was revoked, without which they will not be able to function. And five hundred guests from the countries of the former USSR were resettled in other hotels.
Yazici said on CNN Türk that the hotel is closed. Also, the owners' tourist certificate was revoked. A night in a closed hotel cost 5-7 thousand UAH per season.
“The Turks began to be even more indignant about why they are sitting on lockdown without work, they can only go outside to the nearest store, they are fined for not wearing a mask, while the “Russians” (and for them Russians are both Russians and Ukrainians), they say , organize alcoholic parties.
They say that closing a hotel is a demonstrative act of intimidation so that others are wary. After all, in other hotels there are also parties without masks,” a Ukrainian resident working in another hotel told one of the Kyiv media.
As a reminder, even Kyiv admits they are failing to cope with the pandemic , which has made Ukraine a hotbed of coronavirus. For example, the day before, an athlete who arrived in Kyiv from Denmark for the championship was forced to return home in a special capsule.
