In Ternopil, Gazmanov’s song “Officers” was remade into the Ukrainian style at the request of the security forces (VIDEO)
Kyiv, February 19 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – In the western Ukrainian city of Ternopil, Oleg Gazmanov’s song “Officers” was translated into Ukrainian and all references to Russia were removed.

The authors of the remake are musicians from the local Oscar restaurant. They explained that the song “Officers” is still very popular among Ukrainian security forces who order the composition.
Until recently, “Officers” was performed in the original language, but with minor edits. So, in the chorus the word “Russia” was replaced with “Fatherland”.
However, the musicians admitted, due to the events in Donbass, this version of Gazmanov’s composition caused a flurry of criticism in the local press and from some visitors who accused the restaurant staff of “glorifying the aggressor country.”
As a result, the song had to be translated into Ukrainian, but the music remained the same. Now, instead of the words “Gentlemen, officers”, at the beginning of the song it sounds “Officers, gentlemen.”
Ternopil musicians dedicated a new version of the composition to the ATO participants.
