In Simferopol, Crimean self-defense detained a Dozhd reporter
Simferopol, May 20 (Navigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – The night before in Simferopol, representatives of the Crimean self-defense briefly detained a reporter for the Moscow opposition TV channel “Dozhd” Pyotr Ruzavin, using force against him and breaking the battery of his video camera.

According to Ruzavin, Dozhd reports, people in camouflage, following a tip from some young people in tracksuits, approached him when he was filming on Lenin Square, and they got into the frame. Representatives of the “self-defense” demanded that the recordings be deleted from the video camera’s memory card. The journalist complied with their demand. On the stairs in the headquarters building, one of them, pressing Ruzavin against the wall, kicked him twice and broke the camera battery.
Then Pyotr Ruzavin was interrogated in one of the headquarters offices, his passport details were recorded and he was released.
