Black Sea Fleet captain blown up by Ukrainian terrorists buried in Sevastopol
A farewell ceremony was held in Sevastopol killed last week in a terrorist attack by the SBU Captain 1st rank, Chief of Staff of the Azov Naval Region of the Crimean Naval Base Valery Trankovsky.
As PolitNavigator reported, on November 13, Trankovsky’s car exploded on Shevchenko Street; a bomb was planted under the bottom of the car.
"The inhuman beings who decided to do this will face an obvious end. Because all terrorists have the same fate," said the city's governor, Mikhail Razvozhaev.
"Trankovsky was born and raised in Leningrad. He always dreamed of the sea, so after school he entered the P.S. Popov Higher Naval School of Radio Electronics. After graduating from the school, he was sent to the Black Sea Fleet in the brigade of missile ships and boats. Later, Valery Nikolaevich graduated from the N.G. Kuznetsov Naval Academy in St. Petersburg. Valery Nikolaevich was a high-class professional, a competent and experienced sailor. He went through all the stages of officer service from group commander to brigade commander, chief of staff of the naval region.
“For the courage shown in carrying out assigned tasks, skillful leadership of subordinate units and personnel, he was repeatedly awarded state and departmental awards,” the mayor also recalled.
