Sevastopol, May 14 (Navigator, Egor Kagorov) – On Monday, the ferry “Captain-Lieutenant Kazarsky” appeared in the Art Bay of Sevastopol, where more than 20 ATMs are located - thus the authorities are trying to find a way out of the situation when Russian financial institutions, fearing Western sanctions, they refuse to work in the city that has become part of the Russian Federation.

“More than 20 Sberbank of Russia ATMs will be installed there. It will be possible to withdraw money from any bank card (with a hryvnia account) (and in ruble equivalent). An exception will be clients of PrivatBank,” Governor Sergei Menyailo announced.

The news quickly spread across the Internet and caused serious excitement.

However, the ATMs, contrary to the promises of officials, have not yet started working - there is no access to the ferry for citizens.

As reported to Navigator, acting. the head of the economic block of Sevastopol, Elimdar Akhtemov, the delay is due to the fact that collection has not yet been carried out and the ruble money supply has not been loaded.

“It’s a matter of two or three days. So, let the citizens not worry. The project will be launched and will operate until stable operation of the city’s banking system is established,” the official said.
