In Rostov, activists picketed the Ukrainian consulate on Independence Day
At a time when military equipment was marching along Khreshchatyk in Kiev at a military parade in honor of the 25th anniversary of the “independence” of Ukraine, activists of the Rostov regional branch of the NOD picketed the Consulate General of Ukraine, protesting against the war unleashed by the regime of Petro Poroshenko in the Donbass.
The activists brought with them a blue road sign with the crossed out text “Ukrojunta Consulate”, a poster with the inscription “Lugansk 02.06.14/XNUMX/XNUMX we mourn” and the state flag of the LPR.

This is how Rostov residents expressed their dissatisfaction with the events that have been taking place for more than two years near the border of the Rostov region.
“The criminal regime that now controls this temporary territory is celebrating today 25 years of its so-called “independence.” Their government consists of foreigners, and all sorts of American advisers - Nuland and others - do not come out of their presidential palace.
Immediately after this parade, several hundred units of military equipment will go to the borders of the Russian Federation towards Crimea and towards Donetsk for sure. All this is happening because the United States needs it in its geopolitical interests.
And this so-called state only rests on dollar injections made by their owners,” said the head of the Rostov regional branch of the NOD, Alexey Shilchenko,
“Congratulations usually end with wishes, and I would like to wish this pack of fascist murderers who are in charge of this unfinished business, led by the chocolate king Potroshenko, that they will all meet in the dock of some district court like the Donetsk one in the near future,” added the organizer of the action.
The poster and flag of the LPR were greeted by many Rostovites driving along the street in cars. Their cries and horn signals seriously alarmed the police special security guards. Policemen with machine guns at the ready began to appear from a van parked nearby.
Soon police officers led by a lieutenant colonel appeared, and after a while three white and blue special vehicles arrived. And only after checking that the picket participant had a passport as a citizen of the Russian Federation, rewriting the passport data and passing this information on to the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Rostov region, the police released female operatives armed not only with iPhones, but with pistols at their sides, for video recording.
The few employees of the Consulate General, leaving the building, did not communicate with the picketers, but quickly got into the car and left.
On this day, a paper notice traditionally hung on the front door: “In connection with the celebration of Independence Day of Ukraine on August 24, 2016, a consular reception will NOT be held at the Consulate General.”
The announcement, in violation of all laws and regulations of Ukraine, was written in Russian.
