The Constitution of the Russian Federation does not apply in the Republic of Crimea, - Zapruta (PHOTO)

Simferopol, November 19 (PolitNavigator, Evgeny Andreev) – The request to extend the transition period in the Republic of Crimea is a ploy by its authorities to further violate the legislation of the Russian Federation.

Lawyer Zhan Zapruta stated this on Wednesday at a press conference in Simferopol, commenting on the progress of legal proceedings on claims against the seizure of PJSC Krymkhleb and PJSC Krymavtotrans.
“Here, in the republic, we are in some kind of legal chaos, which is justified by one phrase - a transition period. And by the way, the representative himself (in court, an interested party - the Council of Ministers of Crimea - PolitNavigator) writes that federal legislation gave us the right to carry out our own legal regulation, including the adoption of laws and other regulations, including in the field of property relations and so on. The Constitution is not a decree, we have our own laws, and we will regulate them as we want,” the lawyer noted.
According to him, in such a situation the question arises: “why then further extend the transition period?”
"For what purpose? Continue to break the law? In my opinion, it should be extended only in those areas where the authorities physically do not have time to do something. But essentially, this period should end on March 18. We came to the Russian Federation, let’s comply with its laws, and not refer to some special conditions, and at the same time breaking the laws,” summed up Jean Zapruta.
