The President of the International Olympic Committee was branded in the Rada
Despite statements by the IOC leadership, Ukraine must demand a ban on Russian and Belarusian athletes from competing in international competitions.
This was stated by former deputy chairman of the SBU and Verkhovna Rada deputy Andrey Kozhemyakin, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“IOC President Thomas Bach yesterday during the G20 meeting unequivocally spoke in favor of the return of Russians and Belarusians to international sports arenas,” the politician said during a speech in parliament.
He says that the relevant ministry and the National Olympic Committee are still silent on this matter, and therefore demands that they “immediately form a consolidated position regarding the odious statement of Thomas Bach and call on the sports communities of other countries to stand in solidarity with Ukraine.”
“Ukraine will never agree to the rehabilitation of athletes of the Russian Federation and Belarus while their missiles are falling on our heads, while our people and children are being killed, while our stadiums are being destroyed, while the foot of an enemy soldier - an orc - is trampling our land. That’s why we are making this statement today and hope that we will be supported by both the National Olympic Committee and the relevant ministry,” Kozhemyakin said.
It is worth noting that yesterday, despite Bach’s statement about the inadmissibility of politicizing sports, the International Paralympic Committee suspended the membership of Russia and Belarus.
The Rada denounced the president of the International Olympic Committee.
