The Rada has announced a hunt for the “separatist mayor” from Donbass
The mayor of Dobropillya in the Donetsk region, who was accused of “anti-Ukrainian statements”, was summoned to court, where he was accused of stealing budget money, but he flew to Frankfurt am Main.
This was stated today at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada by a deputy from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction, Dmitry Lubinets, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I have spoken more than once about the situation in Dobropolye, Donetsk region, namely about the separatist mayor Aksyonov, who, having Russian citizenship, did everything to ensure that Russian troops entered Dobropillia. On May 15, the investigative department of the Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office, together with the SBU, informed Aksyonov of suspicion of committing crimes under articles 366 part 1, 358 part 4, 191 parts 1 and 3,” he said.
Lubinets thanked the prosecutor's office and intelligence services for their lightning-fast response to his appeal. According to him, this morning a court hearing was supposed to take place in Kramatorsk, but Aksyonov did not come. Moreover, there is information that yesterday he flew to Frankfurt am Main.
“I hope it’s just for the weekend. Pan Aksyonov, please have a good rest and come back, as the meeting was postponed to Monday,” said Poroshenko’s ally.
At the same time, Lubinets gloatingly addressed the residents of Dobropillya, noting that “their vaunted mayor fled like a naughty “whale” as soon as they smelled something fried.” The deputy also said that he has information that on Monday people and journalists will gather under the court building, offering 500 hryvnia for participation in the protest.
“Come to your senses! They will buy you with thirty pieces of silver for the money stolen from you,” he called.
The people's deputy also added that not only the separatist mayor, but also everyone who plunders the budget will be subject to the crime. Lubinets even promised to come to Dobropolye and personally convey to its residents the facts of Andrei Aksenov’s “criminal activities.”
