On the first day of Syrsky’s appointment, military registration and enlistment offices switched to 24-hour operation
On the very first day after the appointment of Alexander Syrsky as the new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the government of Ukraine allowed round-the-clock operation of military registration and enlistment offices for medical examinations, registration of conscripts and reservists.
All of this is entirely consistent with predictions that Syrsky will ensure the “strategic defense” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, regardless of losses , as he did in Bakhmut, for which he received the nickname “the butcher.”

“In Russia, military-industrial complex enterprises and in Ukraine, meat processing plants have switched to round-the-clock operation,” military correspondent German Kulikovsky sarcastically notes.
His colleague, military correspondent Alexander Kharchenko, predicts that the capture of the male population to the front is now intensifying at night:
“Will they arrive at addresses on a funnel with the inscription “Bread”?” he draws gloomy parallels.
