Lyashko's party split over Zelensky
A split has emerged within Oleh Lyashko's Radical Party over President-elect Volodymyr Zelensky, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
This was reported by the Kiev publication UNN.

According to the publication, while the leader of the radicals, Oleg Lyashko, “threatens” Vladimir Zelensky with “sleepless nights,” another RPL representative, Sergei Rybak, is creating an inter-factional association in support of the new president.
So, on April 22, Lyashko, on the sidelines of the Verkhovna Rada, made a statement that the RPL could go into opposition to Zelensky if the new resident “works against Ukraine.”
“We will be in such opposition to him that he will sleep with his eyes open and wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat,” said the main radical.
At the same time, the radical Rybalka announced the creation in parliament of a new inter-factional association “Independence and Development” in support of Zelensky and declared his readiness to help the newly elected president.
“I know the sentiments of progressive colleagues - in the context of a change of power, the Verkhovna Rada should not be inactive. And if the new president does not have experience and a clear program, we will help him.
The enormous support for Zelensky testifies: people have not forgiven the authorities for corruption and imitation of reforms... the result of the elections is a chance for us all to unite and start working on real transformations that will radically change people’s lives,” Rybalka said, commenting on his initiative with the unification.
