Bolgrad, September 08 (PolitNavigator, Artemy Glazunov) – Activists of the Bolgrad regional organization of the Communist Party of Ukraine restored the Lenin monument destroyed a month ago in the regional center.

A Navigator correspondent witnessed the restored bust today.
As PolitNavigator was told by local activists of the Communist Party, the funds were raised at the expense of local political activists. Now the bust has a slightly different appearance (in particular, the color has been changed from silver to gold).
Note that in Bolgrad there are 3 monuments to Lenin. In mid-February, activists of the Bolgrad Anti-Maidan established a round-the-clock vigil near the central monument on the avenue of the same name in order to prevent acts of vandalism by visiting radicals.
