In Odessa, another “activist” was detained for extortion
In the center of Odessa, the head of the People's Shield of Justice organization, Anatoly Melnichenko, was detained, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Another odious Odessa Maidan activist, the head of “For the sake of public safety” Mark Gordienko, reported this on his social network page.
According to Gordienko, Melnichenko is charged with extortion.
Activists of the People's Shield are known for their actions against prostitution. In particular, in 2017 they blocked Customs Square, where they started a scuffle with the police.
According to the Odessa publication Dumskaya, Melnichenko’s ally is the co-founder of the security company Samson, Andrei Babenko, whose office was recently searched.
