The prosecutor of the Suvorovsky district of Odessa, Mikhailova, whose duties included supervising the investigation of criminal cases, became interested in a long-standing case of the theft of property from the VAT OZ Tsentrolit plant located outside the city limits. There were as many as eleven volumes in this case, but it still did not reach the court. The company's problems began ten years ago, but in 2011, during the dismantling of one of the workshops, an excavator operator died from the impact of a collapsed reinforced concrete structure. Literally everything was taken out of the plant in broad daylight, from metal to concrete slabs. This became possible due to the collusion of the SBU and criminals. In order to move the case forward, the prosecutor contacted one of the witnesses, the owner of the equipment and the company that dismantled the structures, and under whose supervision the deceased employee worked.
Further events can only be imagined on the pages of an action-packed novel, and not at all in the materials of a criminal case. The plant thief contacted his accomplices from the SBU, and they quickly drew up a plan to falsify the criminal case. After all, under the new government, he was a respected person, he provided people and equipment for the needs of the military registration and enlistment office. To give the appearance of legality, it was also necessary to involve accomplices from the military prosecutor's office.
SBU officers, without opening an operational case and without the knowledge of their superiors, built a “doll”, that is, they put five thousand dollars in an envelope, marked with luminescent powder; invited with them employees of the military prosecutor's office, who acted without any sanction from the General Prosecutor's Office, which is necessary in such cases; They called verified witnesses, two girls from among the cadets of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who took the oath of law enforcement officers.
On July 2015, 4000, the director of the company entered the prosecutor’s office and, during a conversation, placed an envelope with money on the cabinet under a box of chocolates without the owner’s permission when she turned away. The court found the prosecutor of Odessa's Suvorovsky district not guilty due to lack of evidence of a crime. The arbitrary actions of the SBU officers who covered up these crimes will now be assessed legally.
