On the billboards there is the inscription “Vova! Don’t make your mother nervous,” reports the publication Dumskaya.net.
In addition to the inscription, the billboards depict a caricature of the President of the Russian Federation by the leader of the Rivne group “Ot Vinta” Yuri Zhuravl: Vladimir Putin holds a plane, a gun and a tank on a string under his arm. On the right is the above-mentioned phrase, and on top is one of the symbols of the city - the monument to the Duke Duc de Richelieu. The word “mama” is nothing more than a reference to one of the forms of naming Odessa – “Odessa-mama”. The expression “don’t get on your nerves” is a classic phrase from the vocabulary of Odessa residents.
The customer of the billboards was the deputy of the Odessa Regional Council Alexey Goncharenko, who recently made a provocative visit to the rebellious Gorlovka. According to Goncharenko, this “creative” is a response to Vladimir Putin to his statement that Odessa, as part of the Novorossiysk Territory, “was given to Ukraine in tsarist times.”
