Zelensky remained in the minority in the Normandy format
After the election of Vladimir Zelensky as President of Ukraine, the initiative in negotiations to resolve the conflict in Donbass passed to Moscow.
The ex-representative of Ukraine in the political subgroup at the negotiations in Minsk, Roman Bessmertny, stated this in an interview with Kraina magazine.

“With the election of Zelensky, the initiative passed to Moscow. Before this we put pressure on the Russians. The meeting between French President Emmanuel Macron and Vladimir Putin, the theses proclaimed by US leader Donald Trump, and the neutral position of German Chancellor Angela Merkel indicate that the content of the Normandy talks has been determined. Now it will be three against one. Our president will be in the minority,” Bessmertny believes.
As PolitNavigator reported, Bessmertny previously stated that the West's anti-Russian sanctions only have six months left to live.
It should also be noted that it recently became known that Zelensky made a number of tactless statements about European leaders during a conversation with the US President.
