In Moldova, they picked up Zelensky’s rhetoric about “no gas” and “bez you”
The Moldovan authorities are ready to raise prices for gas and electricity for the population for the sake of anti-Russian ambitions.
The editor of the Moldovan newspaper Ziarul de Gardă, published in Romanian, Alina Radu, stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The government is looking for all sorts of opportunities. Of course, we already had enough problems of all kinds, but now we have these problems with increased gas prices. And even more so, Russia announced that it is reducing gas supplies to Moldova. But most people believe and even quote Zelensky: “Without light, gas or without you.” And we also say: “Without you,” said the editor.
“For example, yesterday the President of Moldova met with the President of Bulgaria, and there was a contract for the supply of a certain amount of gas from Bulgaria. Previously, Moldova entered into a contract with Romania for the supply, possibly, of both gas and electricity. Of course, prices may be higher, but the main thing is that people do not sit in the cold,” Radu said.
