The police believe that the explosion in the Lugansk Regional State Administration occurred due to an air conditioner
Lugansk, June 02 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) - The explosion in the Lugansk Regional State Administration occurred as a result of a shot from an anti-aircraft system, which was fired from the building of the Ukrainian State Security Service at the plane, but the missile hit the administration building, according to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Lugansk region.

“Eyewitnesses saw the shot fired. However, the rocket did not fly towards the plane, but changed course and hit the window of the Regional State Administration, where there was an air conditioner. Experts say it was most likely a heat-seeking missile, and it reacted to the heat generated by the air conditioner,” police say.
As Navigator reported, earlier the press officer of the ATO headquarters, Vladislav Seleznev, said that Ukrainian aviation did not fire at the building of the Lugansk Regional State Administration, and suggested that an anti-aircraft missile system exploded inside the building.
However, eyewitnesses claim to have heard the sound of a plane flying by.
According to social media users, shops are now closing in the city, public transport is being shut down, and people are seriously studying advertisements for nearby bomb shelters.
