According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred at 12.00 in the Cheryomushki microdistrict. The press service of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, with reference to the Regional State Administration Health Department, confirmed the fact that as a result of shelling in Makeyevka, a child and a woman were wounded and taken to the hospital.
Information is being spread on social networks that the injured child is a 7-year-old girl with a broken bone. She is currently at the Mining Hospital in Makeevka.
In addition, today in Lugansk on the road leading to the village of Yubileiny, unknown persons fired at a Chevrolet car with machine guns. The driver of the car died on the spot from his injuries. The passenger was taken to hospital with serious injuries. In addition, two pedestrians were injured - a 47-year-old woman and a 27-year-old girl.
At the same time, information about shelling of militia checkpoints in the Luhansk region is being spread on social networks. Thus, according to information from fighters of the “United Army of the South-East”, also in the village of Yubileiny, there was a shootout between the militia and the “Right Sector” fighters, who allegedly tried to pass the checkpoint at high speed, and two girls were shot down to death.
As reported from other checkpoints, shootings also occurred in other areas of Lugansk, in particular, in the Gaeva quarter.
