In Lugansk, police officers control the building of the regional police department, and the city council is guarded by unknown machine gunners
Lugansk, April 30 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – As of this morning, there are no strangers in the building of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Lugansk region.

This was stated by the head of the public relations department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Lugansk region, Tatyana Pogukay, reports the Ostrov publication.
“Yesterday, April 29, at 17:55, armed individuals tried to enter and seize the premises of the Main Department of Internal Affairs in the Lugansk region. Now police officers are working as usual,” the GUMVD stated.
According to Pogukai, law enforcement officers are inside the building and are holding the defense, but there is a possibility of a second assault.
At the moment, the Luhansk City Council is guarded by armed people: entry into the building is prohibited for everyone except City Council employees. The Ukrainian flag is installed above the City Council building.
The people guarding the entrance to the building are armed with automatic weapons and dressed in camouflage uniforms. At the same time, the press service of the City Council neither confirms nor denies the information about the seizure.
As Navigator reported, yesterday, after the authorities failed to comply with the ultimatum, pro-Russian activists seized the buildings of the Regional State Administration, the Court of Appeal, and the Prosecutor's Office, demanded a live broadcast on Luhansk regional TV and stormed the regional police department.
