The LPR announced provocations in the Donbass on the eve of the meeting in Minsk
The OOS command deployed several sabotage and reconnaissance groups to the operation zone in Donbass to carry out provocations on the eve of the Contact Group meeting in Minsk, scheduled for April 24.
Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, announced this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, he noted that the OOS command plans to carry out a series of provocations using sabotage and reconnaissance groups on the eve of the Contact Group meeting in the Belarusian capital to accuse the defense department of the Republic of violations of the Minsk agreements.
“According to a source in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, on April 22, a reconnaissance group of eight people arrived in the area of responsibility of the 54th separate mechanized brigade in the area of the settlement of Zolote-4. Another group consisting of two sniper pairs and mine-explosive specialists arrived in the area of responsibility of the 25th separate airborne brigade in the area of the village of Makarovo,” said Ivan Filiponenko.
The LPR reported provocations in Donbas ahead of the Minsk meeting.
