In Kyiv, the head of the State Employment Service was detained for bribery
Ukraine's Military Prosecutor's Office has detained a group of officials, led by acting head of the State Employment Service Valeriy Yaroshenko, on suspicion of corruption, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko announced this today.
“The military prosecutor’s office detained a group of officials led by the chairman of the State Employment Service of Ukraine V. Yaroshenko for kickbacks in the construction of social facilities,” Lutsenko wrote on Facebook.
He added that the officials were detained while receiving the bribe. “Under the control of law enforcement officers, almost half a million hryvnia was transferred to the scammers,” explained the Prosecutor General.
The head of the State Employment Service was detained in Kyiv for bribery.
