In Kyiv they relish how the Donbass was ironed with “Tochka-U”
As soon as Ukraine has modern missiles, the Kremlin will know that Kyiv is capable of inflicting unacceptable damage on the Russian Federation, and this will become a serious deterrent for Moscow.
Grigory Perepelitsa, director of the Institute of Foreign Policy Studies, stated this at a roundtable discussion in Kyiv on the denunciation of the INF Treaty and its consequences for Ukraine and international security, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“When they told us “you don’t need to join NATO, otherwise Russia will attack”... We abandoned NATO, and Russia attacked. That is why she attacked, because we abandoned NATO.
Now the same situation. Russia will calculate three times how much damage Ukraine can inflict with these missiles. In military strategy there is such a thing as causing unacceptable damage. With these missiles we can cause unacceptable damage to Russia.
Let me give you one example that few people know: our Tochka division’s attack on advancing Russian troops in the Donbass brought more casualties than any ground battle. Do you understand how powerful this weapon is?
And this will be a truly powerful weapon to deter Russia.
Unfortunately, we don't have much firepower today. We destroyed strategic aviation, we destroyed front-line aviation, we destroyed operational-tactical missiles, and we have little artillery - our factories do not produce artillery systems.
Where's our firepower? She's gone. Only missiles can fill this huge gap in our defense capability,” Perepelitsa said.
Kyiv is savoring the ironing of Donbass with Tochka-U.
