Kiev admitted that Russians voted for stability
At the last presidential elections in the Russian Federation, the people chose not so much the president as the unchangeability of the country's current course and stability.
Former head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's information department, Oleg Voloshin, announced this on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the diplomat, the overwhelming majority of Russians also support the annexation of Crimea and the decisions made in this regard by the current president.
“In principle, the choice of Russians in favor of Putin is not a choice in favor of change, it is precisely a choice in favor of course stability. In itself, the election of Putin is an election of the invariability of the path that Russia is following... Annexation has already been spoken and negotiated, no one would have carried it out if it had not enjoyed colossal support even from those who did not vote for Putin in these elections or at all didn't go to the polls. I don’t know any significant social group in Russia that would not consider Crimea to be fair, historically Russian,” Voloshin said.
