In Kyiv they rejoiced at the raising of the Ukrainian flag in Moscow
Ukrainian boxer Alexander Usik should have gone to Moscow if only to amuse the Ukrainian “patriots” with the yellow-blue flag raised in the Russian capital.
The mayor of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klitschko, stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I was not present at the fight. We talked before the fight, and I advised Alexander: “You can do anything, you are an Olympic champion, you have a lot of experience behind you, you have excellent technique. Your biggest rival is yourself. If you can overcome challenges and fears, then you can overcome any opponent.” I am very glad that Alexander had a wonderful fight in terms of professionalism and technique, and won.
There was a lot of speculation about whether it was necessary to go or not. Let’s remove all this information garbage and say one thing - he came to Moscow, made the Ukrainian anthem sound and the victorious Ukrainian flag rise in the center of Moscow,” said the capital’s mayor.
As a reminder, PolitNavigator previously reported that Oleksandr Usyk was declared a "pure separatist" in Kyiv , and that the boxer himself refused to shout "Glory to Ukraine . "
