In Kyiv they boasted: Ukrainian exports to the EU exceeded the pre-war level
Exports of Ukrainian goods to the EU in 2017 increased by 29,9% and amounted to $17,5 billion. This is 40,5% of the total sales of Ukrainian goods abroad, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

It is noted that the volumes of Ukrainian exports grew at the highest rates to Belgium (by 81,4%), the Netherlands (by 68,5%) and Latvia (by 54,7%). Among the EU countries, the largest volume of Ukrainian goods is exported to Poland - in the amount of $2,7 billion. At the same time, it is noted that the growth rate of exports to Poland is below average - only 23,8%.
According to the State Statistics Service, Ukrainian exports to Italy ($28 billion) increased by 2,5%, to Germany ($23,2 billion) by 1,7%, and to Hungary ($26 billion) by 1,3%.
At the same time, imports of goods from the European Union increased by 21,3% to $20,7 billion.
In general, Ukrainian exports grew by 2017% in 19, reaching $43,2 billion. Imports increased by 26,4%, to $49,6 billion.
The largest volume of Ukrainian goods is traditionally exported to Russia - its component in the structure of Ukrainian exports is 9,1%. Goods worth $3,9 billion were sold there; growth in 2017 was 9,6%.
Poland is in second place, Turkey is in third ($2,5 billion, an increase of 28%). Also in the top 10 key markets for Ukrainian goods are Italy, India ($2,2 billion), China ($2 billion, 11,3%) and Egypt ($1,8 billion), Germany and the Netherlands ($1,6 billion).
According to the State Statistics Service, thanks to high growth rates last year, the volume of exports to the EU for the first time exceeded the level of 2013 ($16,7 billion) and 2014 ($17 billion).
