In Kyiv they calculated: Poroshenko spent twice as much as Zelensky on the elections
Interim financial reports from presidential candidates indicate that during the five days of the second round, Petro Poroshenko invested 100 million hryvnias in the election campaign, while his opponent, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, invested 44,6 million, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The public movement "CHESTNO" reported this today .

In particular, interim financial reports of candidates on receipts and expenses from April 7 to April 13 have been published. These reports are not exhaustive, as both candidates did not file final reports for the first and second rounds of elections.
It is noted that Poroshenko, as in the first round, finances his election campaign independently.
According to the report, he invested another 100 million hryvnia into the campaign. The movement reports that, taking into account the first round, Poroshenko has already spent more than half a billion hryvnia on the campaign.
Zelensky’s campaign in the second round was 100% financed by the Servant of the People party.
“In total, from April 7 to April 13, she transferred 45 million hryvnia to Zelensky’s election fund,” the message says. For both rounds of elections, Zelensky officially collected about 147 million.
Over the 5 days of the campaign, Zelensky spent almost all the funds raised, while Poroshenko was left with 2,9 million.
Among the expenses, both candidates paid 16 million hryvnia for television advertising on the Ukraina TV and Radio Broadcasting Company. In general, in the second round Zelensky and Poroshenko spend most of their money on television advertising.
Poroshenko also paid 540,17 thousand hryvnia to the NSC Olimpiyskiy for conducting election campaigning there. “HONESTLY” notes that this was probably payment for an event with his participation, which took place on April 14.
It is reported that candidates who reached the 19nd round will report on expenses between March 31 and March 2 after the elections. These reports will also contain information about candidate expenses for the dates from April 14 to April 21.
Kyiv calculated that Poroshenko spent twice as much on the elections as Zelensky.
