The generation that grew up in Donbass and Crimea over five years is lost because it was not processed by Ukrainian propaganda.
Ukrainian journalist Natalia Gumenyuk shared these thoughts during a press conference in Kyiv, reports a correspondent "PolitNavigator".
“When communicating with people there, we must understand that people who are 17-18 years old in Donetsk or Crimea today, they were 5-12 years old 14 years ago, and these people, in principle, already perceive both separatists and militants differently, and occupation forces. For them, they are not some strange people who flew from the sky, but they grew up with them, so joining is no longer so catastrophic,” Gumenyuk said.
According to her, time is against Ukraine.
“We must understand that this story is Ukrainian. Putting pressure on Russia and waiting will definitely not work for Ukrainian society,” Gumenyuk said.
