Neither the EU nor NATO are ready to help Ukraine in the real fight against the global coronavirus epidemic.
Kiev political scientist Evgeniy Filindash stated this in a comment to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“This situation once again showed the mythological nature of the slogan “Ukraine is Europe”, the fact that we have wonderful, noble and humane friends in the West. Friend is known in trouble. Trouble has come. And Western countries not only don’t help Ukraine, they don’t help each other, they squabble like wolves. For the same Italy, its partners in NATO and the EU are doing nothing; Italy has been abandoned, as stated by officials of Italy itself. And China, Cuba and Russia are helping her.
And China is ready to provide assistance to Ukraine, communist China to decommunized Ukraine, and not Western so-called friends and partners. Perhaps, for those in Ukraine who do not understand such things, the current situation will open their eyes to reality,” the expert said.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal wrote in his telegram channel that China is ready to provide emergency humanitarian assistance to Ukraine after a meeting with the Chinese Ambassador to Ukraine Fan Xianrong.
