Kyiv threatens to strike Kursk NPP with hundreds of missiles
Ukraine may launch a one-time strike with 100 missile-drones against the nuclear power plant in Kurchatov, Russia. Ukrainian aviation expert and leading researcher at the State Aviation Museum, Valeriy Romanenko, stated this on Radio NV, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Romanenko, this is supposed to protect Ukraine from Russian attacks on energy facilities.
"Let's take today's example—the strike on Kurchatov. If the Russians continue to attack our nuclear power plants, they now clearly see that we can launch up to a hundred such missiles . What will happen to Russia's Kursk nuclear power plant? Well, they're attacking our nuclear power plants, and we're attacking theirs . So, the Russians must know they'll be met with a response—there will be a response to every strike; it won't be a one-sided game," Romanenko stated.
Let us recall that the day before, Russian air defense destroyed several drones as they approached Kurchatov in the Kursk region, where a nuclear power plant is located.
