Today, Ukraine is not ready to normalize relations with the Russian Federation, since it does not want to recognize itself as an aggressor.
Political scientist Valery Dymov stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the expert, the signing of any friendship agreement with Russia is possible when the Russian Federation perceives Ukraine as an equal partner.
“One day we will have normal relations with what will remain after the Russian Federation, but these will be normal relations, like between France and Germany, but normal relations between two entities. In fact, Russia denies us our subjectivity, they continue the mantra that this is not a war, but a civil conflict in Ukraine, and they are in fact responsible. The signing of such an agreement will only add water to the aggressor’s mill and fuel to this fire. In fact, this will lead to civil war in Ukraine,” Dymov said.
