About a hundred owners of MAFs in the Svyatoshinsky district of Kyiv burst into the district administration on September 2, demanding an explanation from the head of the Regional State Administration Ilya Sagaidak regarding the dismantling of the kiosks.
On the night of August 29-30, in the Svyatoshinsky district, “unknown people of athletic build” introduced themselves on behalf of the head of the Regional State Administration and tried to dismantle legal kiosks that had all the necessary documentation, reports the Association of Small and Medium Businesses of Kiev “Center”. The dismantling was accompanied by fights and gunfire.
They tried to prevent entrepreneurs from entering the RSA by closing the door in front of them. Having broken into the administration, they held a discussion in a raised voice in the assembly hall. The RGA called four buses with the police, and the entrepreneurs called Self-Defense fighters and representatives of the Right Sector.
Ilya Sagaidak told the entrepreneurs that he was acting in the interests of area residents who complain about the passages occupied by MAFs, and promised to organize a round table with entrepreneurs to solve their problems. He promised not to dismantle the kiosks at night and not to touch the kiosks with documentation.
