“Aidarovites” demand from the leadership of the military department not to disband the battalion. They reacted quite aggressively to the explanations of the general who came out for a conversation. His words that the battalion was not going to be disbanded were not heard.
Aidar fighters removed the door to the checkpoint from its hinges and put up a symbolic barricade of a dozen tires. The cars blocked the passage on the street.
People's Deputy from the "Radical Party", who became known precisely as the "Aidar" battalion commander, Sergei Melnichuk, who had previously told the press that the battalion had already been disbanded, demanded personnel changes. In particular, according to him, it is necessary to change the new commander appointed by the ministry.
A fire truck drove into the courtyard of the ministry, apparently in order to quickly extinguish the fire in the event of the tires being set on fire.
