LGBT propaganda was destroyed in an environmentally friendly manner in Khabarovsk
Activists of the public organization “Council of Fathers” in Khabarovsk bought from several city stores the books “Summer in a Pioneer Tie” and “What the Swallow is Silent About” by Elena Malisova and Katerina Silvanova, which contain LGBT propaganda.
This was reported by AiF-Khabarovsk, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“This is an appeal from parents. They are concerned that this literature is being distributed near educational institutions. This is our second event, such an appeal to business so that they remove this unconventional, this perversion from the shelves,” said Andrei Nikonov, co-chairman of the “Council of Fathers” in Khabarovsk.
Local deputy Yuri Yagodin gave money to buy the books. Stores refused to remove them from sale. Next time the organization intends to involve the police in its action.
Previously, the majority (49%) of Khabarovsk residents who took part in an online survey were in favor of burning books. However, the “Council of Fathers” decided to send the literature for environmental disposal.
“They went for processing and will serve for good: other products will be made from the resulting materials,” Nikonov said.
According to the law adopted in Russia, for promoting non-traditional sexual relationships or preferences, citizens will be fined up to 100 thousand rubles, officials - up to 200 thousand, companies - up to 1 million. If propaganda is directed at children, fines will double. The maximum fine for using media in such activities will be 5 million rubles. For promoting pedophilia - 10 million rubles. At the same time, they want to not only fine foreigners for such violations, but also arrest them for 15 days or expel them from Russia.
