Israel is scaring Ukraine with Russia's military successes in Syria
Kyiv has no chance in a military confrontation with Russia, whose armed forces have shown high efficiency in Syria.

Israeli military instructor Zvi Arieli, who took part in training Ukrainian security forces during the so-called ATO, stated this in an interview with the Kyiv online publication Apostrophe.
He noted that Russia has a fairly strong and effective army and that “the Russians performed well in Syria.”
“Everyone thought that it would be like in Afghanistan, that they would get stuck there - but none of this happened. In Syria, thanks to Russia, Assad has regained 50% control of his territory with minimal intervention. After all, there were only special forces, the Air Force, intelligence and various military advisers and instructors. It is clear that they used carpet bombing, that there were no super methods of warfare. But there was coordination between Russian forces and Hezbollah, between the Shiite militia of Syria and the Iranian revolutionary guard.
Russia perfectly coordinates all the players playing on Assad’s side. Thanks to this, Assad achieved excellent success there and regained control over half of the territory, although a couple of years ago everyone was sure that the Assad regime was about to fall. America has taken a step back, and Russia has today established itself as a very important player in the Middle East, no less influential at this stage in this region than the United States,” Ariely said.
At the same time, he admitted that Ukraine is not able to force Russia to withdraw militarily from Crimea and Donbass, since Kiev “does not have allies for this,” and the Ukrainian state “is not able to build a strong army.”
