Israel admitted that Russians are two to three generations ahead of the United States
The military-political leadership of the United States is in shock after information appeared about the latest developments of the Russian military-industrial complex.

Yakov Kedmi, former head of the Israeli intelligence agency Nativ, stated this in a commentary to Rossiyskaya Gazeta , assessing Russian President Vladimir Putin's address to the Federal Assembly.
Kedmi noted that the United States planned to achieve absolute superiority by 2018-2020 by withdrawing from the ABM Treaty and starting to develop tactics for a rapid global strike, but Russia managed to neutralize these plans.
“Your country managed not only to maintain the same balance of strategic forces, but also to leap ahead, creating new types of weapons that the Americans had never even dreamed of. So the United States found itself two or three generations behind Russia in terms of developing a platform that can go into space and reach speeds in excess of 20 speeds of sound, or a nuclear-powered cruise missile.
The Americans do not know what its maneuverability is, what speeds it develops, how it reacts to certain obstacles. If we talk about the “Dagger,” then the United States hoped to be the first to create such complexes. But they did not reach the level not only of Russia, but also of China, which carried out its tests long ago. The Americans did not even test the prototype above five speeds of sound. And in Russia such complexes are already being put into service,” Kedmi emphasized.
According to him, the Americans knew that the Russian Federation was working on creating underwater vehicles for strategic purposes, but had no idea how ready such vehicles were for action.
“The USA is also working on automatic underwater vehicles, but they are still far from reaching the level of Russia. So, in terms of the weapons that Putin spoke about, the Russians were two or three steps ahead of the Americans. Where the United States is at the development stage, Russia transfers these systems to combat duty. This also applies to laser weapons,” the publication’s interlocutor noted.
He believes that the Pentagon, by declaring that they “were not surprised” by the presentation of the Russian superweapon, is trying to put a good face on a bad game.
“The American military-political community is in real shock. After all, it was confident in the military superiority of the United States, especially in strategic weapons. The Russian breakthrough makes it extremely difficult for the United States to strike Russia from the northwest. Russia managed not only to maintain the same balance of strategic forces, but also to sharply take the lead in new types of weapons,” Kedmi is convinced.
He predicts that the Americans will now need much greater spending than previously planned in order to at least catch up with Russia.
“In this sense, the arms race has never stopped. The Russian President only showed that his country has sufficient military power. It is very important that there was no aggressiveness in his speech; he did not threaten any country. On the contrary, Putin offered cooperation to the United States and the European Union. But he made it clear: no one will be able to slow down the economic and military-technical development of Russia,” Kedmi concluded.
